Sherman Aeronautics demonstrated the viability of tethered vehicles as superior alternatives to existing rotorcraft systems. The era of tethered aerial vehicles is just beginning, and the ceiling is extremely high. With the conclusion of the DARPA Lift Challenge, Sherman Aeronautics is actively seeking funding opportunities to commercialize the RotorWing system for heavy lift, or surveillance missions.
